Plasma Bank In Orange County

Kuching ... or the time is long ... Swim with turtles

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I have not written. The main reason is that he did not spend so much so interesting since our last post when compared to the rest of the trip.

Good recap anyway. In our last post we were in Miri. The first day, we went to rest a little by "Hawaii Beach" is about 15 minutes from the city by bus. Let's say I doubt that the beaches of Hawaii looks like that one. It was not too bad anyway, mostly due to the fact that it was practically deserted.

The next day we went to Niah Caves Park, the main reason for our stop in Miri. That was really amazing. Caves with absolutely huge rooms (about 70m high and I do not know how long), I was not expecting that AC is so impressive. They discovered human remains and carvings dating back over 40,000 years in these caves, too.

the 25th was the Feast of Cindy. I have therefore pay a small Journe beautée. Treatment in a spa and a haircut. It did him well I think. During this time, I deambule in city of Miri. It is interesting to note, the province of Sarawak seems much richer than that of Sabah. Probably because of the strong Chinese presence in this province. So much fun to walk around this town, despite the oppressive heat.

The next day we took a bus to the town of Sibu where we only stayed for one night then take a "fast boat" to travel to the capital, Kuching. To a place where we had only one night we stopped, Sibu us anyway pleasantly surprised. We ate in a super good restaurant the night we arrived. The next morning before our departure, we went to see the Taoist temple in the city. That is a monk (I think?) the name of Mr. Tan has tried to educate us on the concept of Yin and Yan. It was pretty intense as during and say we do not have everything but before we left for a pack of "Bebel" gift. Experience as a special one.

Then we took one of those famous "express boat" Kuching. These boats are manufactured with aircraft fuselages dating back to World War II and spins at 80 mph on the water ... It was traveling cursed as they say.

We have therefore come to Kuching in the evening, ie 28. The first observation is by far the most beautiful city we saw a Borneo since the beginning of our journey. The architecture is very beautiful, with these ancient Chinese businesses that have been well maintained for once. The walk on the edge of the river is very good too. It's also very quiet, maybe even too much. Let me explain why: 1 October, is the "Hari Raya" or the Muslim New Year ... So that almost everything is closed in the city. We were a little taken aback when one considers that we had 14 days in the city is going around .... So that we start to find time a little long here. But hey, these are things that happen on a journey and unfortunately we can not do much. At least we're leaving today for Bako National Park for the next 3 days. Several people have recommended we go there is apparently very good. We may be staying longer lontgtemps whether we like it because we say pretty exhausting all the activities that we could do in Kuching and we still have 10 days before we left for Singapore and Indonesia in the future.

Aye! I just realized it's already been a month since we left! I hope the fall is not coming too soon in Montreal. Anyway here is warm in taba ... ;)

a bientot!
