bye bye Malaysia, Hello Indonesia
fai I say some of you that I did not write very often but as I said is that it does not happen so much here since the last 2 weeks. Anyway here's a quick summary of last week.
In our last post, we went to the Bako National Park near Kuching. We stayed two days in all. The first day we did 2 hiking trails on the park. We could see the Proboscis monkeys super close (on the photos, the white and brown monkey with big nose and big belly). Even if we had seen a lot since the beginning of our journey, they are still really fascinating.
The next day we went on a beach park. The place was practically deserted and the beach very nice condition, so we're staying for the day. On the way back we pass a large group of Silver leaf monkey (small gray and black monkeys in the photos) who tried to pass through the mangroves of the park. There were females with newborns in the group when the dominant male was really aggressive and he even ran after us for a little bit for the rest of the group to pass. Quite as intense experience but at least I did not face plant into the sand before a pack of tourists when he ran after me (hehehe Sim). We left to Kuching the next day because it was raining.
In the following days, we went to the park rehabilitation Matang where we could see several endangered species of Borneo with other orang-utan (including the huge male that you can see in the pictures). Even if it was more like a zoo has a fleet of rehabilitation, it was really nice to see this big male.
few days later, we rented scooters with people from our hotel and the hotel staff (who is made a bit like our good friend like that makes 2 weeks that we're here) to visit the village of a tribe that lives in Borneo q'on called a longhouse. The motorcycle ride in mountains ls Borneo was an adventure in itself. We really love. Arrived at the village we are greeted by a resident with a glass of "tuak", the local rice wine. At first glance, the longhouse is very impressive. Let me explain what it wholesale. The village is in reality as a gigantic house on stilts that follows a river. Each family has its smallest division of the house. We met one of the men of the tribe that we explain roughly customs, myths, etc.. of the tribe. I could practice my shooting on blowgun darts from a target as you can see in the pictures (I was at 5 mm from the bulls-eye was my first attempt, without joke!). Wholesale fu really interesting experience and allowed us to have a good idea to how these people lived (I say lived because now it's not unusual to see a saucer tv satellites outside of the houses ...) at the time. The return trip on a scooter was much less pleasant than the alley by cons because it was raining a little, it was cold and black taba ... Anyway, it still give us the taste to rent another one elsewhere. We are presently
Friday night, we leave for Singapore SUNDAY evening and then travel to Indonesia. Despite that we have much love Borneo, we're not too disappointed to leave saying.
I put some pictures of the last days on the following site:

See you in Indonesia!
By the way, I hope you go and vote en masse for the Liberal party, I find that lack of humor in parliament in recent years and Stephane Dion would be really hilarious as premier ...
