resume since the last message. After our tour on the island of Nusa Lembongan in the south-east of Bali, we went to Ubud, in the center of the island of Bali, which is arguably the cultural center of the place. If you really want to discover the rich Balinese culture, this is the place or German. First, we found a room in a small cottage home so beautiful and cheap. It costs us $ 12 per night including breakfast (for 3 people). By far the best place to stay where we are since the beginning of the journey and surely one of the least expensive.
The first day, as we arrived around noon, we take the opportunity to do some shopping. It was really the place for cheap souvenirs and we enjoy a lot.
The next day we decided to follow a course of local cuisine. I can not guarantee that we will be able to repeat everything we did as food, but it was really excellent. We think from that day but we loved the place so we decided to spend two more nights.
The second day we rented bikes to go for a walk in the Balinese countryside. Even if the heat was stifling again, we saw a breathtaking landscape. The rice was particularly beautiful floor.
Despite the good times that we spent in Ubud, after 3 days in sweat, we needed to freshen up a bit. So we went in the extreme south of Bali, more precisely at Dreamland surfing paradise, with the aim of course to do some surfing finally. We therefore arrive there, we rented a surfboard despite the exorbitant price we are wondering, all this to realize that it was definitely not a place for beginners. We're all the same to stay 3 days there, because the place was really beautiful with its huge cliffs that are roaring directly into the sea, but saying that we were not so in our place over there, because it was literally just the surfers who were there.
We have decided to end our trip in Bali where we started, that is to say in Kuta, the only place where it was possible for beginners to surf. What we did yesterday and let me tell you it's a lot more difficult than we imagined. We did pick up in taba ... No major damage by cons, but I'll still take a day off today to try again experience probably tomorrow.
For continuation, sister Cindy is leaving us after tomorrow to join his friend in Thailand. Cindy and I are going at the same time to the island of Lombok, more to the east, where we expect to spend the next 3 weeks. It's much less touristy over there, especially since we are in the low season, so it's going to be good a little tranquility.
