Really, it could have happened in this city it but it was our starting point to visit all the islands near where we wanted to go diving.

after a day at Semporna, then, we went on Mabul Island in the hope of being able to relax a little on the beach and maybe if we are lucky to dive on the reefs of the famous island of Sipadan in the top 5 worldwide dive sites have what is said. Like I said by cons, there is only a small number of people who can fairte of diving in this island, and there isn't room for 10 days every dive shop ... We therefore put on a waiting list for the next few days in hopes that people cancellent.

First observation arrives on the island: the beaches are not really famous. Very dirty because of the presence of a fishermen's village on stilts. The place where one stays is pretty cheap ($ 17 per person per day, meals included) but it's pretty ugly too, but it would be a little crazy. So we're a little disappointed with our first day there, especially since we already pay to stay four days ...

The next day, we'll just take a walk in the small nearby village. We expected nothing from her, but I must say we were pleasantly surprised. There are children everywhere, but then, really everywhere. They tell us all "hellos", "good morning", "how are you", "picture", etc.. etc.. Really cute. In addition, despite their extreme pauvretee, one tries to bribe us money any way. Second day not so bad then.

Day Three: we must do our share "refresh" diving. Cindy did not dive for 5 years and I 2, so it was not necessary evil that we do this. The first dive is going very well, I see the same three sea turtles! Instantly, I remember why I so love this the first time in Thailand. The second also goes very well, everything comes back fairly quickly.

back to the place where we stay, the owner is present and they told us that he will see what he can do so that we can dive in Sipadan next day. I do not know what he does, but we managed to find 2 seats! We attic. Last day

So we go to Sipadan to make 3 dives. I will not tell you in detail what we have seen, I'll just tell you it was incredible, as you can judge by the photos. Just explain what happens in the first photo perhaps. During a dive, we came across a group of 5 turtles which lay at the bottom of the reef. So beautiful. We saw so many turtles that I could longer has to count.

Finally, our stay on earth is not getting better day by day. We met a lot of really great people too.

The same evening, we took a night bus up to Kota Kinabalu, where we began our stay in Borneo. We wanted to take the later bus to get up to Miri, in Sarawak, the other province of Borneo. At the bus terminal, we are told that AC is not really a bus directly because there is the Sultan of Brunei in the middle which really complicates things. Must fly ... It frustrates us just as we had not planned to move but good, it happens always kind of stuff to travel.

So I wrote this time the town of Miri in Sarawak. We are here mainly to get Park Niah caves, really huge apparently. We will probably spend several days here also because there are waterfalls, beautiful parks and beaches not so far away, so be it describes fun.
