wine, food and beautiful life in Argentina pt2
In my last post, we arrived in Mendoza, a city in the heart of the main wine region lArgentine. We therefore take this opportunity to make another tour of the vineyards by bike. The vineyards are much older in this region and especially cest what makes them charming. Cellars are much older, much larger vines, etc.. The tastings were a little more quality habit, but we really have our money ... AC rolling a little crooked to our return. Must be said that the company where we had rented our bikes Naida not, we used a lot of free wine before our departure and our back ...
The next day, our breakfast of couchsurfing Gabriel invited us to an asado, a typical Argentine barbecue, which is normally the Sunday family. We went into the condo complex or live his grandmother and his father, who even netaient not really, but hey, we could use their BBQ plate and cook Gabriel gave us a ton of meat. Cétait course still excellent. Cétait and our 10th straight day they drank wine or if I remember correctly ...
After Mendoza we went to the center of the country Cordoba, second largest city in the country. We were still couchsurfing, at this time Luis. The guy was extremely nice again and he lived alone in a big house, which even though we had a private room! Regarding the city cons, let's say we were a little disappointed, especially Quon had heard much talk of good. Luis has tried to help us find things to do that interest us, like a train ride through the surrounding countryside, visiting the city or Che Guevara grew up, etc.. but nothing too exciting to us. It begins perhaps to be a bit jaded as we've seen so many amazing things on this trip.
We then went to Cordoba to Puerto Iguazu at the northern end of the country, or encroit lon dIguazu found the famous waterfalls. Cétait the longest bus ride we had done the entire trip til now (22h) but we paid a bus a little more luxurious so that ca sest very well. Here, it is quite warmer, it's been really good so after all this cold. We went to visit the Falls Park yesterday and ca ca us say that impresses not so. DIguazu Falls are actually a series of falls mutlitudes dune which extend over several kilometers. Really spectacular, almost as Irrel place to say.
We're still a day over Puerto Iguazu to enjoy a little heat and the pool at our hostel, but as a result, today, it is not very hot ... Okay, so we leave tomorrow for another long bus ride (18H) for the last destination of our journey, or Buenos Aires. We can not wait, its a pretty special to this city Quon said.
There are less than two weeks, ye better be hot in Montreal for quon go at least a small semblance dete before the 6 winter months!!
