Cleansing Gallbladder Polys

strikes, theft, sore feet, sore stomach ... and fun! In the Peruvian desert

Hello everyone. Sorry for not giving too much news lately. We just got back an hour ago dun trek Machu Picchu 4 days inclus. I'll tell you below ...

Say the last few days have been pretty eventful ....

At my last entry in the blog, we had a darriver Arequipa, Peru. Super beautiful and we walked for about 2 days. Thereafter, we went on a trek of two days in Colca Canyon which lies a few hours away. To get an idea, saying the Grand Canyon in the United States is about 2500 m deep on average while the Colca Canyon is over 3100 m. .. Its very big then. The first day, we went first offers in Canyon del Condor in buses, or we could admire the huge Andean Condor. We then descended the canyon for about 7 hours. Cétait very nice because the top of the canyon is very arride but the bottom is dotted with fertile valleys. We spent the night in a really beautiful oasis. The next day, although he was well on back .. 1200m Delevante Quon has done in 2 hours ... not worse.

We then return to Arequipa for another day. Our next stop was Cusco. Since the beginning of the trip, we traveled with a company; bus which was very good and very safe, although very expensive. There were several other companies that offered at first sight almost the same thing for half the price. Our guide during the trek we had recommended in particular so we decided to go there with them. Everything worked very well during the trip, cest virtually the same service than the other company. By cons, arriving in Cusco, Cindy noticed that things in her bag were not placed in the same manner which had been placed. Well we have said quila excavations bags. I looked in mine, I realized quon mavait steals my raincoat and my "head-lamp", probably what I, had higher value in my bag ... Threw quite annoyed with, but hey, we learned our lesson I assume I'm ...

So we arrived in Cusco. Again super beautiful city with a colonial neighborhood very well preserved. In addition, Cusco is LANCIENNE Inca capital of the kingdom and it is almost entirely built on the foundations of the Inca city. We are more graves in the week or they inclus solstice celebrations of the winter (24), while there are plenty of parades and dancing everywhere, cest really great.

Anyway, the main reason why we were in Cusco was of course to make the trek to Machu Picchu 4 days inclus located nearby. The first day consisted of a descent from 4400 m in mountain biking in the mountains into the jungle about 3000m lower. Cétait really fret but so fun. The payasages are a breath and more. The second day, early in the morning, 2 hours of rafting! Again, really fun even though the rapids wasn't huge. After rafting, trek itself starts with 6 hours of walking through the jungle. The third day, pretty much the same thing to happen at the foot of Machu Picchu, Aguas Calientes has pain I am writing this time.

this morning so we left a 4:15 am to arrive at sunrise at Machu Picchu and also be on davoir a place to mount the Wayna Picchu, a mountain overlooking Machu Picchu and is limited to only 400 people a day. The climb up to Machu Picchu is that difficult, but must be said, as cest really amazing place. The kind of place that you need to really see it in person to really lapprecier. The site itself is actually much larger when scientific quon limagine seen in photo, but the most impressive in that it is the place cest cest or located.

So we just returned from, we're exhausted, but very happy. The only problem with cons, cest we were supposed to return this evening by train to Cusco, but there is a generalized transportation strike in Peru today and tomorrow, then our guide told us that the only way to go would be to walk in Cusco another 7 pm tomorrow til the nearest town and dy take a bus from the company when the strike is expected to be finished between 15 and 16h of Lapras PM ... It tempts us not too good but it was not much choice ca lair.

As for us, we die like I said but we'll probably be able to rest in next days. From my side, jai feet completely massacre in every damn trip and Cindy has some minor digestive problems like ... well as always in the background hehehe.

We will probably leave Peru to go to Lake Titicaca in Bolivia in the coming days. I'll try to put photos of the trip til date when we return to Cusco in 2 days.

you soon!
