... it's small beer compared to what we faced this week with "scooter". Hello all, I enjoy the quality on the internet here or we stay in Kuta Lombok to write you a quick message about what we did in the last days, because we leave tomorrow for Flores and ike as it is a place more remote from the tour that Lombok, I doubt that access to the internet will be easier.
So, here, as I said, we passe5 days here in Kuta Lombok, quiet surf town in the extreme south of Lombok. The perfect place to relax after our exhausting climb the volcano last week.
We decided to rent a scooter as I metionnais to walk around the neighborhood and to make themselves more easily to the beaches along the south coast of Lombok. The landscape here is truly breathtaking. Much drier than the rest of the island, although we're beginning of the rainy season. Everywhere one looks, one sees a bright green hills, small villages Sasak (the name of the original inhabitants of Lombok) tradional, plantations, herds of buffalo water, etc.. The best by cons: beaches. Most are in fact huge bay with white sand, or water is clear like a swimming pool. And the view is fantastic with these beautiful green hills that drain into the sea a particular beach, which is about a 1 hour Lombok is by far the most beautiful beach we saw during our trip and probably our lives . In addition, these beaches are almost deserted! Zero tourist hotel complex, restaurants, etc.. We feel very privileged to have seen these tracks before that have developed this property to go uncovered, which will undoubtedly happen shortly because they had completed construction of an international airport nearby. Another Paradise Land undoubtedly ruin ...
The only problem with cons, as I mentioned in the title, is the pitiful state in which roads are to get there. I can not even call them roads, mine fields would be a better description. We also had a flat tire in our second day, while we were not bad in the middle of nulpart. But hey, it was still really nice to be able to move (relatively) easily in our way during these few days.
For the next few days, like I said, we leave tomorrow for the island of Flores, our last destination for this trip (already!!). We make trajet6 boat, which will take 4 days, several ave4c Judgement on different islands along the way, including the island of Komodo, where we can see the famous Komodo dragons , this unique island.
